Getting started

Who is MenuMuse for?

Independent restaurants, cafes, takeaways and local food businesses. We are most useful when the restaurant needs a clearer official website, a stronger menu experience or a dependable way to keep information current.

What should we send with an enquiry?

Your restaurant name, location, current website or Instagram, and what you want to change. A current menu and a few photos help us understand the work. Do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive documents through the enquiry form.

Which package should we choose?

Basic covers a credible essential website. Pro is our recommended starting point for individual design and recurring operation. Premium adds deeper pages and evidence-led improvement. We review the actual need before recommending a plan. Compare the packages and prices.

How long does a build take?

We agree a schedule after reviewing the pages, features and available content. Menu changes, missing photos and approval timing affect delivery. We do not promise a launch date before that review.

Can we see a preview?

The three concept websites show different directions and guest journeys. Any restaurant-specific preview, its scope and review stages are discussed before work begins; it is not an automatic promise of a free custom build.

Design & content

Do we need professional photography?

Not necessarily. Clear, well-lit photos you own are a useful starting point. We help choose images and identify gaps. We do not fabricate pictures of your real dishes, interior or team, and images need approval before use.

Can you use our existing branding and website content?

Yes, where you own or have permission to use it. Share the logo, colours, menu and content you want retained. We review what works, what is outdated and what needs a clearer structure before agreeing the design.

Can you connect our booking or ordering platform?

Pro and Premium can provide clear paths to an existing provider. Relevant enquiry forms can be separately scoped. A submitted enquiry is not a confirmed reservation until the restaurant accepts it. Provider fees and deep integrations are separate.

Do you provide another language?

Pro can include approved existing second-language content within the agreed build and update scope. Translation, additional languages and a new language build are not unlimited or automatically included.

Are the showcase restaurants real clients?

No. Maison Lumiere, Kuro Noodle Bar and Casa Verde Taqueria are fictional MenuMuse concepts. Their booking, ordering and enquiry interactions demonstrate an experience; they do not make real reservations, send restaurant orders or prove commercial results.

Monthly updates

Why is there a monthly subscription?

The managed service covers hosting, essential upkeep and the selected level of change work after launch. It is separate from the initial website build. Pro also includes a simple view of key actions once tracking is agreed and configured; Premium adds a review and recommendation.

What is included each month?

Basic includes 1 essential correction. Pro includes up to 4 standard requests per calendar month. Premium includes up to 8 standard requests plus 1 planned seasonal or promotion page per month. See definitions and examples.

What counts as one standard request?

One routine update around one business objective. A holiday notice, related hours and its existing booking link can be one request. Several unrelated promotions are not automatically one request. Asking you to clarify the original request does not use a second allowance.

What happens if a change is larger than the allowance?

We review the scope with you before extra work begins. New features, substantial redesigns, large menu rebuilds and additional campaign work may need a separate quote. An unclear request is clarified rather than automatically deducted.

How do we request changes, and how quickly do you respond?

Use the update route agreed for your project and send the approved text, dates, links and images together. We confirm missing information and scope. Support response arrangements are agreed in your proposal; priority support does not mean unlimited or instant work.

Do you guarantee more bookings or better rankings?

No. We improve the clarity and usability of the website and, where included, interpret available evidence. Menu or booking clicks are not proof of completed bookings or revenue. Search ranking, revenue and booking guarantees are not part of any package.

Build payments & subscriptions

When is the build fee paid?

Basic is USD $499, paid 100% upfront after scope agreement. Pro is USD $1,299: $649.50 to start and $649.50 before launch. Premium is USD $4,999: $2,499.50 to start and $2,499.50 before launch, following a conversation and approved private proposal. Payments.

When does the monthly subscription begin?

After website launch, not at project start. Monthly prices are USD $39 for Basic, $129 for Pro and $499 for Premium. Follow the subscription instructions for your agreed project and package. Subscribe.

What is not included in the listed prices?

Domain registration and renewal, external booking or ordering fees, translation and separately scoped extras. The proposal confirms the relevant third-party accounts, responsibilities and costs before work begins.

Does a checkout return page mean payment is complete?

Not by itself. Payment status must be confirmed through the payment provider and verified records. If confirmation is unclear, contact MenuMuse with your project reference before attempting another payment; do not email card details.

Ownership & working together

Who owns the domain and restaurant content?

You own your domain and original restaurant content. Keep domain registration and renewal under your control. Third-party photography, fonts and services remain subject to their licences.

Can we move the website or stop the monthly service?

After the agreed build fee is fully paid, reasonable migration or handover is addressed in the agreement, subject to third-party licensing limits. Ending the monthly service ends managed updates, support, reporting and improvement work after the agreed paid or notice period. Your agreement sets out the notice, hosting transition, outstanding fees and any applicable refund terms. We confirm those details before you proceed.

How can we contact you directly?

Email xjt18504103537@outlook.com or message @menumusestudio on Instagram. The project enquiry form is another route; it uses FormSubmit. Please do not include sensitive documents or payment information.
